Mystical Golf - Variety & Value

published by PluggedinGolf    Nov. 28, 2016

With over a hundred golf courses in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area, it can be tough to choose a few for a golf getaway. Luckily the folks at Mystical Golf know how to entice you with three distinctive courses and great partners in town for deals on lodging, food, and entertainment. Designed by distinguished architect Dan Maples, the only features all three courses share are the number of holes - 18. For sheer beauty you can't beat The Witch. Taking your cart from the clubhouse to the front nine you quickly disappear into hundreds of acres of undisturbed wetlands. No houses or car noise, just alligators, blue herons, and the occasional fish jumping. Check out our full review of The Witch here. Sitting next to each other, but separated by a large lake, are The Wizard and Man O'War courses. With a fitting castle clubhouse, The Wizard is a links style course with tall mounds and deep bunkers. I really enjoyed the last two holes which bring water into play on every shot. The par-3 17th shown above, is an island green, the tee box and fairway of the 18th are also islands, while the green is a peninsula. You can read more about the course and clubhouse here.

Mystical Golf - Myrtle Beach

published by LinksNation    Nov. 28, 2016

Mystical Golf is a triple layer of Myrtle Beach golf properties within the abundant golf locale of the Grand Strand. Recently we traveled to Myrtle Beach and experienced The Wizard, Witch and Man-O-War layouts under absolutely perfect autumn weather just 3 weeks removed from the fury of Hurricane Matthew. The storm unleashed its wrath upon the area with damaging winds that took down over 100 mature trees on the Mystical trio of routings (dumping nearly 20 inches of rain). We're always amazed by the work of agronomy teams after such damaging weather. The excellent playing conditions we were provided just a few weeks after the storm made landfall in South Carolina was a testimony to the entire Mystical Golf staff.

It's Time to Get Magical with Mystical Golf This Holiday Season

published by About Travel    Nov. 07, 2016

Are you looking for a spot to getaway this holiday season with your golf buddies but still want to have money left over to buy gifts for the entire family (even Uncle Bob)? If so, it's time to get magical with Mystical Golf. It's time to call your best friends, pack up the clubs and head to Mystical Golf, home to the "finest 54 holes of golf" in Myrtle Beach, S.C. With its acclaimed Witch, Man-O-War and Wizard courses, Mystical Golf is an ultimate buddy destination. Why? First thing's first, let's talk about the golf courses which are the main attraction. Time and again, The Witch is ranked among the best golf courses in South Carolina. Set on 500 acres of tranquil cypress groves and wetlands teeming with flora and fauna (that's fancy talk for native plants and animals), it takes golfers on an entertaining journey through the Waccamaw National Wildlife Refuge. It doesn't take long to understand that the land on which the course sits was made for golf.
